Beginning in January 2013, Financial Fitness will focus on credit and different reasons credit is important for purchases like a new car or home.

 

Join us to Understand Your Credit Report and Credit Score, which provides a history of your past use of credit.  Accurate information in your credit report is the key to obtaining the best credit terms and rates.  Learn how to read your credit report, what you can do to improve your score, and how to dispute a report error.

Credit is one of the most valuable financial tools available and Using Credit Wisely will help you understand the best ways for credit to be part of a sound financial management plan.  While paying for education or home improvements, and having credit available to deal with emergencies are some acceptable reasons to utilize your credit, there are also situations when you should avoid using credit.  This workshop is designed to help you understand the difference.
